Treating sex addiction and its consequences has been my focus for many years.
I am humbled to guide our clients through painful moments of crisis and then to share in the beginning of their new lives in recovery. My story and experience led me to this work and I am grateful to know that people can and do recover from sex addiction.
I have been fortunate to train with Dr. Patrick Carnes, to be recognized as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and to work as the lead therapist in the sex addiction recovery program at the prestigious Meadows treatment center of Arizona. While at the Meadows, I worked with love addiction expert Pia Mellody and other Meadows Senior Fellows.
One of my greatest influences has been couple therapy expert, Dr. Stan Tatkin, author of “Wired for Love”, and developer of the “Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy” (PACT). I have trained extensively with Dr. Tatkin and believe his approach is excellent for helping couples in crisis.
